About Jayne

My name is Pamela Jayne Sassi and I am the Founder & Designer of Jayne. I was born in Milwaukee, WI. I am the youngest of 3 daughters and have always been surrounded by amazing, strong women in my family. I always knew if I wanted to create a great life for myself, my family, and make a difference in the world, I would have to start a business. When I thought of what kind of business I could potentially create I asked myself, "What am I passionate about?" The answer was simple, home, colors, prints, sleeping and helping my fellow woman. I knew nothing about fabrics, designing, branding, manufacturing, owning a business, running a business, website, social media, shipping logistics, accounting, marketing, the list just goes on! I knew that I would have no choice but to figure it out and make it happen. After two years in the making, Jayne Sleepwear launched June 6th, 2019. When the long day is over, be home feeling absolutely beautiful for no one but yourself, you’ve earned that. who is Jayne? Jayne Frances Murray, my grandmother, was a Lieutenant Nurse in the Navy during WWII who also raised a family of 8 children. Now the name that has been passed down by the strongest women in our family. Jayne stands for Strength, Femininity, Courage, Compassion, and Bravery. We are all Jayne.
